A free entry route
Promotional entries must be obtainable without any purchase, through a documented method — in this category, typically a written postal request.
Home / Sweepstakes rules
Tessera does not run a sweepstakes. This page explains the rules that govern the brands we describe, and which document actually binds when sources disagree.
Tessera does not operate any sweepstakes, promotion or contest. We do not distribute virtual currency, hold accounts, process payments or determine redemption eligibility. Every sweepstakes referred to here is operated by the brand concerned, under that brand's own official rules, which are the only binding document.
No purchase is necessary to enter or participate. A purchase will not increase your chances of receiving promotional entries. Free entry methods, including mail-in requests, are available from every sweepstakes brand covered here. This is not a courtesy extended by generous brands; it is the structural requirement that allows the category to operate as a sweepstakes at all.
Promotional entries offer a chance to become eligible for prize redemption. Eligibility is never guaranteed, and outcomes are determined by the rules each brand publishes. Promotional entries offer a chance to become eligible for prize redemption once a threshold set by the brand is reached. Nothing in this category guarantees an outcome, and any wording suggesting otherwise misdescribes the model.
You must be 18 or older — or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher — to create an account with any brand described on this website. Age requirements are set by jurisdiction and enforced by the brand at registration and again at redemption.
Availability is set state by state and province by province, and it changes. As of mid-2026, the category was available in 31 US states and in every Canadian province and territory except Ontario and Quebec. See where it works for the detail, and confirm with the brand before registering.
Tessera does not offer cash, virtual currency, credits redeemable for cash, or any prize that can be sold or traded for money — including merchandise, tickets or in-brand items. Nothing on this website is a promotion of ours.
Every legitimate sweepstakes brand publishes a complete set of official rules, usually linked from the footer of its own website. They will cover, at minimum:
Promotional material, third-party summaries and this website are all secondary. If anything here conflicts with a brand's current official rules, the official rules apply and ours are wrong — tell us at editorial@tesserasweepstakes.com and we will correct the page.
Three elements have to be present together. Remove any one and the arrangement becomes something else, regulated differently:
Promotional entries must be obtainable without any purchase, through a documented method — in this category, typically a written postal request.
Buying a coin pack must not improve a person's chance of receiving promotional entries relative to the free route.
The terms must be set out in advance, in a complete document, and applied consistently to everyone taking part.
Tessera does not host any casino-style entertainment, does not process payments, and does not distribute virtual currency. We publish explanatory reference material only. We publish explanatory reference material, and we may receive a commission when someone registers with a brand through a link here — disclosed in full on our Disclosure page. We have no role in operating, judging or administering any sweepstakes.
Tessera covers entertainment-only sweepstakes and social casino brands. No real money wagering takes place on the brands described here, and nothing on this website offers cash, cash-equivalent credits, or prizes that can be sold or traded for money. Sweepstakes and social casino entertainment is a leisure activity. It is not a source of income, not an investment, and not a way to resolve financial difficulty.
